Thanks for the great pics. They give a good first look at the model changes.

I agree with a few of you that commented at first glance it looks like a BU. I am not a fan of the tower, the dash and unfortunately the graphics.

They just don't thrill me or motivate me to go crazy over the new look. The dash looks cheezy to me and I am not a fan of dealing with glare on LCD screens or the color highlighting.

The PCM motor is a good thing and I like the raised lettering on the aft. I think that looks rich. Good to hear the hulls are the same. As ragboy pointed out the sound from the Wetsounds tower epakers will be loud under the bimini.

I am sure a lot of Tige owners and prospects will love the design mods which is good. For now I am happy with what I have.

Not a huge fan of the tower, to much like a bu, and the dash looks a little prius like... The graphics look over done on the 22v, something you would see on a high school kids t-shirt. The tower does not seem to match the boxy design of the boats, its a little round. I like a clean look; the 08 z1's are classy, and perfect.... The z1 graphic on the 09 looks super cheezy, and does not flow with the style of the boat, again its a totaly round design and the boat has a boxy clean cut look. Still a tige man, but not so impressed with the new look, hope they make some modifications before production. And by the way just got a call from my buddy who just purchased a 08 vlx from taylors boats and it broke down on him at Powell. This is the second time it will be in for repairs within a month. Sounds pretty serious, the tranny might be shot. Not impressed with Malibu at all! JUNK...

I guess that sounds a bit harsh, I like the trash can, in floor balast, etc. It looks like its a big hit on ww. Ill buy em if people want to rent em, and of course I get a screaming deal....

I love the new look, especially the tower. The only thing is I hope you can get the tower in another color besides black. From what I can tell, if you don't have black anywhere else on the boat, the tower looks out of place.

Also, does anyone know when tige is going to have the 09s on their website?

While I am not a fan of the new tower, I think without the bimini up it looks good on the Tiges. I think it is pretty unique. I agree looks like Malibus with Bimini's up.

Not a big fan of the new dash.

Not a fan on the graphic on the VE but I am sure there will be other options on the graphic

Love the whole look on the RZ's

I commend TIGE for trying new things and not staying inside the box.

I love almost everything about the new boats, still cant afford one but would love to have a new Z1, i hope the new tower flexes less than the one i have on my 2006 20V, i know that they are the cheapest boats that tige makes but i hate the wobble, my dealer told me that malibu was the only one that made a tower that didnt wobble, is this true and if it is then the new tower should be awesome.

Have you re-torqued to mounting bolts/nuts since you bought it?

The 20V is just less boat (shorter, narrower, less bling), but made with the same integrity as every other Tige.

You guys seen the new CC towers for their 09's? Basically exact same design just out of tubing and w/o the fun stuff.

I did not see the tower flexing at all this weekend, however it had no boards on it but appears to be solid. It appeared that they had to retighten the lock/unlock handle severeral times because it kept coming loose, and a clogged builge pump that stalled the boat during Daniel Watkins run made things stop for about 15 minutes to fix the problem. I could see issues happen like this due to all the pulls it made and all the ballast that was in there.

My dad spoke with a dealer yesterday, he said that the 09's are to be $5,000 more than the 08's. I don't know if that's base price or with what options.
