I think you could have gotten them up there, but they just looked retarded because they were crooked in 2 dimensions (both up and down and side to side).
    Be excellent to one another.

there must be a dealer out there that has or is receiving new 09 stock from Tige.

We just ordered two boats 1.5 weeks ago and they will be 2008 models.

I can get 2 485 easy on the metcrap tige tower 2005 and have room for some pro 60's

I put 2 485's on the 2004 metcrap tower and had a lot of room leftover.

I C. I think it was coach I had check it out on his E-series tower for me, and he said you couldn't make it work. I had been working on a cheap way to make it work, and it would have perfectly! BUT... now the new towers rolled out!...lol.

Let me add a qualifier to my earlier statement..... I was meaning the E-series and Z-series towers!

but total bummer that theres no way of putting them up right now on the new one..

I had my Z tower made with the sraight bar so I could put as much as I could. Plan was pair of 485 and pair of 80's but could only fit pair of 485 and pair of 60's You can fit the 3-Some or others on the older towers, we have 3 inch clamps that will fit that diameter.

As for the new ones. Tanner is working on some ideas. I too have some as well. But the height of the tower will limit these to going on top. As there is a very easy way to get them on. Just drill the tower and through bolt the speakers direct, no clamps. But they will be about eye level so you will always be ducking under them. So on top seems to be the best option for the 485.

The shape of the new tower and the shape of the 485, with them on top might actually look really cool. Probably the best look of a tower with speakers on top.

I will also be double checking fitment of 2 pairs of 80's or the pair of 80's with pair of 60's in the factory spots. Not sure yet as we have only been working on it for the 60's

The factory installed system will be the 1 or 2 pairs of 60's with the molded in adapters which IMHO are the best tower/tower speaker look on the market. We worked with Metcraft on the design of this tower to match the lines and the looks of the speakers.

So that is why they look so good on there

Isnt it tough to know what the tower was going to look like and not say anything?

Nah, I am so use to it. As with Wet Sounds. Many of the products you see now are years of development. So I am used to keeping secrets when it comes to new products.

I am just glad everyone can see the new RZ platform. As I was sworn to not show pics since it is part of the 09 launch. I felt bad as everyone knew I had one and was asking for pics but I couldn't show them.

So it isn't tough when you know but no one else knows that you know!!

But tough when envryone knows you know...haha

Fugly was not refering to my abstract Candy Corn Boat but the 2009's and some of the design changes.

I just exchanged emails with Tige re: 2009 changes to the tried and true 20V and there is no in floor ballast planned for it or the 20I. No new Tower either.

It does get the 343 PCM Engine upgrade and the Speedset upgrade.

It also gets new Gel-coat pattern and I believe color options.

Those are about it for now.

What are the key advantages to PCM vs Marine Power?

One of the major reasons for PCM is catalytic converters, the engines are also quieter. JD powers has been awarded to PCM as well, if that floats your boat.

                            From my understanding,
                            1) the impellers are more expensive on PCM engines
                            2) 1 exhaust port in PCM's and 2 exhaust ports on MP's. cheaper FAE expenses are one benefit for the PCM's.
                            3) PCM engines are quieter

I would think with an FAE on a Tige with MP and a Tige with PCM and both with FAE noise would be close.

Catalytic is key reason for PCM single exhaust. I assume the catalytic is going to generate some heat and it is going to be trapped in rear storage areas. How hot will it get in there?

1)We sell the PCM impellers for around $24

                                2) I thought the single exhaust setup was a CC thing and net unique to PCM
