That's interesting you note that turbonine. I had heard the tower was actually supposed to fold into the windshield and sit just below it. That way you could clear an actual 7' garage.

About 2 c**t hairs away. It's ALOT more boat than I was originally shopping for, and it is SWEET!

I know this is about 2009 Tige's and while the 900 pounds of ballast is nice......the ride I am picking up has 2000 pounds worth; not that I'll need it.

I wish I could afford an 09 RZ.......looks like a nice rig.

Hmmmm spharis are you picking up a Mb sport B52 I know they have 2000 + ballast????

I don't like the tower or the new graphics/color and that oming from the owner of a candy corn colored boat. I would need to see the color display on the dash to comment more. Looking at the new 20V does not motivate me to move from my new 2007 (well was new untill this week until we put on 15 hours).

The only items that catch my eye are in floor ballast,PCM Engine,Trash receptacles, Interior and vinyl,and advanced speedset that does not fluctuate.

HOLY CRAP!!! I just saw this thread and the pix!! All I have to say is WOW!! Very nice job Tige!! Looks like I'm going to have to start saving for a new boat as well!!! I love the RZ2!!

Ordered the 2008 Z1 without the tower. You can see my son is unhappy because of it! Also wanted the stereo upgrade - but that comes later and Wetsounds is coming out with new subs!

Liked the Malibu tower - but not their boats. The Bu tower on the V-ride is low, and you can hit your head on it. Also - when it folded it actually contacted the vinyl near the dash - left an impression. Hope Tige' has considered fixes to both of these issues.

Thought eventually we would get the new style tower/someone would make an aftermkt one. 'Course now we can get one from the factory. I assume the structure of the '08 is the same as the '09and it accepts it?????

Too bad the Lime green wasn't available - that will be too hard to change!
Wish Tige' would offer raised pewter/chrome graphics too like some of the older boats!

Some didn't like the new tower, but IMO the new tower kick a$$.

I would be willing to bet that the new tower is listed as a 4K option much like the old one was.

WOW!!!! That surprises me. Do you have a good source for that information?

I guess from a manufacturing viewpoint, the new tower is probably more easy to deal with. One bimini for all the towers, Same tower for all RZ and Ve models,

Is the beam on the Z1 the same as well?
