Thanks for the pics Matt. I could'nt make it to Portland today, so those shots really help to ease the pain. As a dealer I am very excited about the changes. I believe the fresh changes for 09 will help bring some buyers in. We'll see.

I couldn't figure out what that tower reminded me of then it hit me ... the handle on my grandson's new car seat/carrier. Exactly like it. Definately not a winner in my eyes. I do like the integrated lights, nice execution. A lot nicer than MB's attempt on the Tomcat.
So where's the mirror? Same scenario as a 'Bu. Either you stick with a windshield mount or you'll have that ridiculous arm hanging down overhead.
The 22ve graphic looks almost just like a 'Bu Vride, tear graphics are so over.
The color scheme and layout on the 20v & 22ve is cool looking, but i do question the extensive use of colors on the dash, a bit much imo.
I guess they didn't listen to owners on the RZ platforms, still has that angle cut corner.
"Call me anything you want ... Just don't call me NOBODY!
There is a new deck for the RZ2, I have seen it... I am sure as pics start to come from the event you will see it. It is pretty much exactly what we all thought it would look like.
The new dash is awesome! lower, and the screen looks so much better. I am glad they listened to us about having a memory feature for the ballast set up.
The in floor ballast is very cool not sure of the ratings I had heard 900 but I hope it is more like 1200+
Personally, I love the new VE, minus the tower and the graphics but I can take care of that Once again I am glad my dealer uses Samson. and well I will do my own graphics....... Hmm a perfect VE
I do not like the RZ graphics, but I do like the new gel pattern on the back of the boat, previously you could not order it custom there now you can.
The new boats look Amazing!! I do think we as fans of Tige's should wait to see the boat in it's entirety to really judge. Especially in regards to the swim decks, bimini's etc. Tige is doin everything that owners have been asking for and then some. They are taking new ideas, old ideas and improving on them all! Lets get pumped about these positive changes not negative. BTW, cant wait to see the new dash, lets see some upclose pictures of these.
We finally got a Tige dealer out here again. So, I've been looking at them on and off. I like the new boat design a lot. The tower looks pretty cool. Kinda like the Centurion/Malibu tower. The built in lights in the tower look pretty nice. I wonder how they will work? The speakers on the tower look funny the way they are mounted. I like the way the speakers mount on the Illusion much better.
Anyways, kudos to Tige for changing it up a bit.

Not quite......suggested a floor drain and chrome tips for the exhaust over two years ago. others have also supported these.....still waiting. maybe they will be on the 09 models. lets see what happens!
Overall, I like the direction that Tige is going. All the pimple-faced keyboard superstars on WW are going to bash the tower, but who cares. I think the tower is going to be a big advancement. I would really like to see it with the bimini up. It looks like the bimini is going to look very familiar to the Illusion bimini. You can see in the third picture it has the same style mount points as the Illusion tower.
Can't wait to see more pics.
PS. - I think Tige always has the best looking models.
