Do you run those in stereo? I was told it wasn't necessary.

I wasn't talking about the electronic crossover component. I was merely commenting about the speaker placement on the tower. If you look carefully, the left speakers are projecting right and the right left.

I think this would be a interesting thread that wetsounds should comment on since there are more and more people getting dual 485's (I think that is the model number).

Not sure you'd want that crossover sound projection like that, but I guess you proved they'd fit up there.

You could use the Swivel U clamp to rotate the speaker to point straight back.

I'm referring to the E series tower. And you could.... but it required some fab work. Otherwise you couldn't mount them straight up. Well..... you might have been able to, but they would have looked really funny and REALLY crooked.

Yes they do, and they have a remote so you can swivel them in any direction.

got a question about the new alpha tower. I heard Malibu is not having american make the illusion tower anymore, they are going to china.
The company that made the towers in the USA turned torwards Tige and tige picked them up. is this accurate info???
