Any suggestions for creating the best surf wake without sacs? What would the ideal Taps setting be? I've only tried surfing once, and could almost drop the rope with Taps on 10. BTW, I'm 5'11'/220#. While I'm at it any suggestions on the proper board/size for manuverability would be appreciated. My boat is a 99 pre2200iWT

Get all your buddies on the side you want to ride on near the back and play with the TAPS until the wake is clean. Boat speed will also help shape the wake. Try speeds from 8.8 all the way up to 11 or 12. Keep in mind that as you increase your speed, your wake will be longer, but have less energy to push you along.
...and whatever you do, don't use a wakeboard rope handle!Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

I'm not sure of what this board is, It belonged to my buddy. (The guy riding is not me) I've seen pictures of this board and figured someone might know what it is. I liked the performance of the board, but I'm thinking I'm to big for it. The Wakeboarder is me. Thanks for the input
P.S. I have since learned about not using a wakeboard handle
