    Broken Platform Supports

Two of my platform brackets are broken. The welds have popped loose when the lower tubing meets the flat metal support than lays against the transon. Can I have that rewelded or should the brackets be replaced?
There are the original brackets for a teak platform on an 98 model 2100i.

I pulled those brackets tonight. Is this marine adhensive and sealent that is around the bolts where they enter the hull?

You should be able to have the parts welded back together then seal the holes with marine below waterline silicone.

        Thanks Lee,
That's exactly where I am at this moment. The supports are at the welding shop and I get them back within the next hour. When I removed the supports, there seems to possibly be a layer of the marine sealant between the supports and the hull, the entire length of the support, not just around the mounting holes. Does that seem normal?

yes, the sealant is normal. clean the old stuff off and re seal. use 3m or lawson marine adhesive.

Wish I had known that earlier. I put the platform back on yesterday and went to the lake. I used Goop brand marine sealant and adhesive.

What you used should work fine.
