Haven't found a good Tige' at a decent price point for sale individual or dealer. I really wanted a 22V in the 03-04 range. I shopped Tige', MC, Supra, and Malibu. Seems like Tige' owners are more proud of resale than the rest. I found 2 2003 VLXs (arguably one of the best hulls Malibu has) within 100 miles and will be demoing them soon (one tomorrow I hope) that require the typical spharis TLC treatment, and I also found a couple of deals (probably closer to SMOKIN HOT) on some MBs...one a 2007 B52V. Opinions are like _____ , but what do you guys think about MB? If I can find a Tige' in the next couple of weeks, I'm still open, but very disappointed in availability to far.

I looked at MB's when I was getting my boat, their fit and finish is terrible IMO. Their gelcoat work is cool with the graphics and stuff but the upholstery stitching and other stuff seemed lower budget to me. As an example, the rear storage lockers have a finger width gap between the edges when closed and to me it seems that water, dirt, etc could get in there with that kind of space. They are nice looking boats from a distance though.
My dealer has an '05 22V that they are asking $37.9k for. Is that more than you were wanting to spend?

We looked at the B52V and V23. We really liked the look wake ect..... but it felt like a tank in the water. I don't know it that had 2 do with the two speed trans or not. The wake was intense tho. It was a little though on the kidneys in choppy water.Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. Look @ nortexws.com under pre-owned and you will find an 05 Tige 22V red/gray with 65hrs for 39K. I don't know how far you are willing to drive but depending on where you are in Louisiana that doesn't sound like to bad of a drive. I haven't seen the boat up close, but it looks nice.If you're lucky enough to live on the lake, you're lucky enough.

Ask Tim from wetsounds, he had a MB and will probably give you an honest opinion.
There's two major things I don't like on the BU's. The ride through chop, and how the seats are put together. Every one I've ridden in starts creaking and rattling after the first year. I actually love everything else about them.
What's wrong w/ us Tige owners being proud?
Good luck though Spharis.Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

Good luck on the search. Road an 08 MB last week, and it was real nice. I thought the finish was nice. It had billet everywhere. I have almost no experience with Malibus, so I won't weigh in there. I am shocked at some of the prices on used boats right now. I'd have thought they'd be lower. Looked at an X10 tonight 2004, and they want 43k for it.

I suppose Tige should be happy/proud we won't part with our boats.....or is it that they should be sad since we're not buying new ones. Either way.
I've seen ALOT of good deals on boats lately, I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for (and hopefully it's a Tige).
Here, have some more Kool-Aide.Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Here is an 04 with 50 hours for $39k
http://denver.craigslist.org/boa/723418538.html
And another 04 with ?? hours for $38K. This one looks very loaded, and has been listed for quite some time, I bet you can get it for $34-35K.

And yet another 04 with 115 hours for $37K

These are all in Denver, but you can look at it as a pitstop on your way to Powell.

Plus, why would I pay 35k for a 6 year old boat (albiet 2 feet longer) when I can pay $35k for an 07?
