        I never cared for the looks of those...(obviously that's personal so I'm not saing you're wrong for liking it) Seems like everywhere I turn is a smoking hot deal on just about any brand you can think of. I saw a loaded VLX for $51,900 on ebay....nice boat--glad my wife didn't see it because she'd buy it in a second.

        You'll have to come back and visit us and let us know how you like our new toy.
        Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

              How sturdy is the MB tower?

              The looks of the tower have never grown on me, but I have always been a fan of the MB graphics, maybe because they remind me of a mullet type go fast boat. Deep in my heart, I am one of those....ever since my older sisters took me to a KISS concert when I was 8 years old.
              Be excellent to one another.

                        Just wait until you fill that ballast.... you will crap your pants when you see that wake up close.

                        Cool thing about the MB's is they have drain plugs for the back ballast tanks.

                            That looks sweet. You should have come up and demoed that tomcat. If that wake is anything like Ian's tomcat's, you are in for a real good time. I'm probably going to get flogged for making this statement here (I haven't ridden a Tige v-drive, so no comparison point), but I've never seen a wake like the one we've gotten out of that Tomcat. I've seen bigger, but not cleaner. If that thing is an 08 with the new ballast system, it is real smooth. Congrats on the new ride. That is a serious upgrade.

                              So, what was the cost on this boat? I saw you only wanted to spend 30k or so on a used Tige, just curious what this one ran. I would like to upgrade my 21v, but I can not spend 60k on one right now.
