Didn't realize there were that many people in the Arkansas lakes. I was out yesterday on Greers Ferry and am going out again tomorrow. Only 14ft above normal right now and dropping (but they have been generating constantly for over 2 months). It's a tad green and visibility is low but it should be back to normal by next month. Because noone is coming to the lake this year due to high gas prices, flooding etc they have made it free to drop out from the parks. Usually have to pay $40 for an annual pass but I'm going to wait to see if they let that last for the summer.
I drive by Table rock, Bull Shoals and Norfork every week for my job. I'll have to keep an eye out from now on for those Tige's. I've only seen one other Tige at Greers Ferry.

Heck sorry we missed you. The Thursday we were there we were heading to the ferry and when we rounded a bend that normally has a long rock formation on one side we started getting nailed by rain and the beginning of a storm. We turned our Tige around and promptly trimmed up and throttled to wot and headed back to Black Oak.

We head down to Bullshoals usually in August but this year we went in June and are hitting TRock in August.

Gas prices in Arkansas and Missouri are significantly cheaper than Chicagoland so other than the gas bill to get down there we stayed conservative on the water at $4.32+ and spent around $200 + $30 some od dollars to fill up in Missouri on 160 before we headed down five. We were not on the water as much as previous years but cluster headaches be darned we still had fun.

Nice area to live and work.

Dark blue and white so it would be possible it is me. I'll be out again tomorrow, I'm getting all my water time in before the 4th when all the idiots are out because there are only a few places to put out now that the water is high so it's going to be crazy plus I can see the fireworks from my upper deck on the house.

I drop at the narrows alot because a buddy of mine owns a little place right beside the park. It was crazy at one time with the marina being at the same hieght level as the bridge. You couldn't even see the long steep ramps that make the narrows such a great place to back down to unload.

nuts, i was saying he has a black and white tige so keep an eye out for it.
thats crazy, we havent made it down yet because they live in the neighborhood on the narrows that got roughed up by the tornado a month or two ago. dealing with mold and shingle damage sucks but its better than their neighbors who lost whole houses!

Gotcha, I think I've seen him around town. Does he tow it or does he have a slip? I saw a Tige at the funeral home the other day, plus I've seen a Tige on the lake a few times around this time of year.
Oh yeah, I know how the shingle damage is as I have a claim in myself. It is a little hard finding someone to roof an A frame. I usually don't tell the guy that I have it until he gets out at the house so I can see his expression.

Ah, Shiloh is little further down than I normally go. I venture out there some though. You have to be careful between there and Cherokee. Lots of trees below the water. Course right now it's not bad. I dropped out at Heber Springs Marina today which is about 2 or 3 miles east and across the lake from Shiloh.
