DieselPWR saw you as well....we were slow going as we were behind my bro-in-law whos trucks turbo went out on him about 5mins before you passed us.
So we were making sure he limped home ok.
We were coming from Sterling Res.
You were at Big Mac I assume as there is notrhing else out that way, how was it?
Also why you towing without your cover?

We will be back in Powell Aug 3rd week too.
Macaunahay was great, weather was perfect. I did get a flat tire on the trailer on the way there. Then blew my front driveshaft trying to load the boat where we were camping. Stupid. Thank God for tractors.
It was recommended by a lot of people, including WWS, to tow without the cover if at all possible because it will rub/wear on the gelcoat. Especially with darker colored boats.
It does wear a tiny bit but it buffs out very easy. We towed a time or two without the cover and couldn't stand the bug cleanup when we got to the lake...
Finished all my PM’s on my Truck and Boat, So all I have left to do is pack up the food.
Saturday we will be on the 10 to 12 hour trip to Powell.
Can’t believe that we where able to get 4 wakeboards, 8 ski vest, and 3 large towables into one rear locker.
Got to love the storage on the tige v drives.
How do your boats do in Lake Powell??... especially when some of the storms come in? I have never taken my 21V to Lake Powell because I don't wan't to get caught in a storm... am I being too cautious?
Let me know what boats you are running and your general experience on the big water.
