Well I am certainly not going to replace my teak with fiberglass. I may purchase a new boat with one on. But pay 1k for a new fiberglass deck NO WAY!!!!!!!!

I had nothing but problems with my NON TEAK whatever wood it was platform on my 06 22V. After one season the wood separated between the glued joints and shrank on the perimeter causing it to not be even. I oiled the platform on a regular basis and did not moore the boat. At the end of the first season Tige replaced the platform for no cost to me which I thought was great but the second platform did the exact same thing. The company Tige had hired at the time did a really nice job putting the platforms together but for whatever reason that crappy wood would split and shrink.
Tige knew they had a problem with the wood platforms and continued to sell them. That is my one and only gripe with my boat that I used to own and I would never buy another Tige with a wood platform.
I am now done with my rant.
