Lake Calendar/Schedule

I had an idea about having a calendar that shows everyones schedule when they might be at a particular lake. I was thinking of Lake Powell specifically, but can be used for any other lakes as well.

It doesn't have to necessarily be held on this site, but would be nice. Maybe some kind of Google app calendar or something. That way everybody would know who they are overlapping with at one look.

Anybody have any ideas?
Can the calendar on this site do that?
Is this another wild idea that none else cares about?

I think it is a good idea. I don't know the logistics of all the different lakes and the calendar for each. If someone else put something together I would be interested in knowing who else was on the lake the same time as I. A great example of not knowing is last year Moki and I were on the same lake (Pineview) in different arms at the same time. We would have at least stopped and said Hi for a moment had we known.

This sounds like a great idea. The only problem with my family is 1/2 the time, we don't know we are going boating till we are out the door.

We are going to Lake San Antonio June 22-27, so if you see a beige and green PRE 2150 w/ a black Phat Buddie tower (probably towing a tube......... sigh......) that will be us! Say Hi!!

That is even more reason for it. You won't have to look through a long thread to find out who else will be there with you.

They might not know you are there, but you would know to look out for them.

We need to ASK Matt how hard that would be to create. There should be a calendar of some sort out there that can be posted. I would post it on my web site but I need to figure out how to do a web calendar. What about using a goggle web calendar.

Just had a bad thought though. If we do that then people can find out when we are gone and when we are home so they can visit our homes and leave us with nothing when we get home.

I think it's a great idea. It can also be used as a reference if someone has troubles. For example, I'm going out to a certain lake, I wonder if anyone else will be out there, check and see, if you have trouble, maybe you could get in touch with them and they could help out.

I know ya all wernt asken me, but im down yonder at the big fishien hole more often than not. (alltoona ga, little river). And me and my folk ant got no bandjoe neather so were not gonna ride ya like our best pig "june bug" no how.
