    HELP

Ok after a bad ck sensor replaced and then taking it to the dealer and spending $200 for them to tell me I had 2 bad injectors which I replaced my boat is still doing the same thing It has a noticeable miss and will not run past about 1500 rpm under load. If I kick it into neutral it will rev up np problem. I have a good 55 lbs of fuel pressure and according to the dealer there are no DTC's showing. WTF is going on?????????????????????

They did a power balance cylinder test and which 1 and 5 bad but the had good compression hence the bad or stuck injectors injectors.

Any clues would be greatly appreciated

I had the same problem on a car and it ended up being a bad connection inside two of the pigtails(cylinders2and6).Why two pigtails where bad at the same time I don't know but would be more logical on a boat than a car.I have also seen corrosion where the harness plugs into the computer.Thats all I know.

I did too and they all looked good but when I put a multimeter on the unpluged pigtail it was getting no pulse. They said the wires inside the pigtail where damaged.Hope you get it fixed and don't lose any weekends.

I am assuming that the tech at the dealership would have checked the connections also.

Did they check the timing and the distributor? Just a thought.

check fuel filter. I had simmilar symptoms where it would rev fine in nuetral, but nothing under a load. We went through all sorts of things. Turn out being a $14 in line fuel filter.

You have to remember though 55 at idle is good and 55 PSI under load is good also. He needs both 55 at idle and 55 under load. If all his sensors TPS, Crank and MAP are working which we know they are they are holding the injectors open to 5ms. Which then requires more volume of fuel at 55psi to make it all work under load. After talking with KONA he has not verified 55psi under load. He is going to try to do this tomorrow. The other thing to consider is if there is a bunch of the corn fuel mixture in the gas he has that will cause issues also. I would say the next step and he agrees is to verify that he has the fuel flow volume and pressure under load.
