It's just a short drive to Texas, my friend. We have no rain. It's hot, the lakes are full and not a drop of rain.

I feel your pain, or should say, I FELT your pain. Thats why I moved up here from socal. 9 miles to a beautiful lake. You only have to go out a couple of afternoons to feel the same as a 1000 weekend. Its amazing.

I am not worried about the rain in Houston. Just wish the 20-30 mph South winds would stop.
If its not fun, Why do it?

I'm with you skyski, out lake here in N Texas has been looking more like the Gulf of Mexico! Ready for the wind to stop so we can stop having to look for a calm place to ride. When we find one, everyone else is there too.

Don't move to WI. Saturday is supposed to be nice and then rain for the next 2 weeks
Winter sucks mighty@$$ too. Pretty much sucks year round here now that I think about it.

That is what we have been facing here in NW AR. We have had record amounts of rain this year, which has put the lake at record levels and caused the flood gates to open 2 or 3 times all ready. The gates haven't been opened in a decade i don't believe. The problem with this is as the lake levels rise, it has picked up and floated the tons of debris that has been sitting on shore for years.

The few weekend days we have had with no rain have been plagued by 25 mph winds. It has been a tough season so far...
