2009 Tige Boats Product Line

I am just getting my boat where I want it. I don't know a whole lot more that I could do to it. Why would I want to change now. I have spent hours cutting out but connectors and poor wiring jobs that TIGE did at the factory and last night I ended up with heat stroke because I just wanted to get it all done and over with. Pushing my self way to hard and I still did not get it all done. Almost there . But it is amazing how nice things work now that I have cut out of my boat 82 butt connectors from the TIGE wiring job and re-run wires so that they are only going 20' at the maximum instead of 55'. I don't think I will trade my boat any time soon. It only has 149 hrs on it. Dogbert I change my oil at the start and end of every season and sometimes in the middle. If it starts to look dirty it gets changed on my boat. Same with the trans and V-Drive.

I am anxiously awaiting the pics of the new tower, I can't believe how much I am stressing over it! I am laughing at myself because I am not even CLOSE to buying a new Tige anytime soon and I am still concerned! I really hope it is not anything like the Malibu tower. It is too closely identified with Malibu in my opinion. The evolution tower Tall just posted is ok, but what the heck is wrong with the current E and Z towers, I like those! Hopefully I am getting my panties in a wad for nothing and the new tower will look great. Ok, I am done whining...

Did I mention how much a beating we got on WW about the Picklefork? If we have something like Malibu, we will never ever hear the end of it.

Just rebutt with facts! Mailbu or Mastercraft "borrowed" all of their ideas from someone else anyway. The Illusion tower design already existed in the yacht world, the picklefork nose was around 30 years ago. Those guys have a tendancy to "casually" forget those things as they think those are the only boats that count.

I think you also have to give credit where credit is due. It is true there have been pickle fork hydros out there for a long time, but it was a totally different application. Doing it in a wake or family boat for more bow room, cooler styling, and that bitchin front ladder, was an awesome idea. I don't like the bu tower, but it was definitely a step away from the norm, out of the box. You have to give them credit for that. You can also say that trim tabs have been around forever. But for Tige to combine that with the convex hull and make the wake system they did, very ingenious. Now tige is due for some more innovation of its own, so they don't just solely imitate the others.

Another example is calibria's ballast, what a great idea. Give them credit, hopefully tige is smart enough to copy the best of what is good, and innovate the rest.

Oh don't get me wrong Rags, i'm not denying that credit may be due for the application(s). The point was, and still is that some of the owners of these boats think their s**t don't stink when it comes to brand and guarding their supposed brands trademarks as others have stated here. Consequently it fuels the arguements we all know occur on WW and the of course the brand bashing ensues.

Some people need to know what its like to grow up in a place where daddy's lawyers and checkbook don't protect you. A place where a good a$$ whooping can come your way at any time. Teaches you the proper fear/respect to show to other people.

Supra's Roswell Tower with the drop down bimini is the best tower and flip-up seating. I hate their dash tho.

Too bad you can't mix and match.
