Doesn't Centurion use the Illusion tower but have it turned the other direction? When I looked at a new Avalanche 2 years ago, I'm pretty sure that was the Illusion tower but turned the other direction and then it had support bars.

You are referring to the Evolution tower. It has 4 supports, not two, the back supports are black and wide (not as wide as the Illusion) and then two chrome supports going to the front.

I am anxiously awaiting the pics of the new tower, I can't believe how much I am stressing over it! I am laughing at myself because I am not even CLOSE to buying a new Tige anytime soon and I am still concerned! I really hope it is not anything like the Malibu tower. It is too closely identified with Malibu in my opinion. The evolution tower Tall just posted is ok, but what the heck is wrong with the current E and Z towers, I like those! Hopefully I am getting my panties in a wad for nothing and the new tower will look great. Ok, I am done whining...

Thats too funny. I would love to look at a 2009 RZ4, but I think I will be waiting also. I just put a new tower on my boat and new tower speakers and am constantly tinkering and doing something here or there. Next thursday getting a 150amp alternator from MP installed to keep up with my stereo.

My 24Ve runs great, I prob won't really get a new one til 2011 model or something like that. My oldest is going to be starting college next year, and then its a string of six kids, so probably hold on to this boat for a while.

Then again, who knows, I could get another huge contract and just do it. But I definitely won't do it while my old boat would be so darn tough to sell.

The way I think about it, every 100 hrs = 1 oil change (or 3000 miles on my car/truck). So, I'm at about 20K with my boat and it's 9 years old. We still get pretty good performance out of my boat's hull design, so I can't see really dropping $30K every 3 years or for very little net new capability.

I guess Tige built my boat a little too well.
