From my understanding, there isn't any place to put the mirror on the tower. The mirror will have to be mounted on the wind shield.

Don't tell me they're going with a forward swept arch tower. Those 'Bu towers are worthless IMO. Besides the fact that they are horribly ugly.

Before we get two negative we need to see the boats. I am sure TIGE's has done a very nice job as they always do. I expect that they are aware of the competition and they are returning to there roots of building a strong, price competitive, and good looking boat that out performs the competitor.

With what I have heard so far, No speedset,PCM motor, Malibu type tower, I will be happy with my 08 for awhile

Why would they have spent the time developing Speed Set just to use it for only 3 years?????

I thought no one had any complaints about the 07 and 08 speedset. My buddy's 06 speedset sucks, but that is because of the fact it shuts off when you turn the engine off ( just like my other friend's 07 Bu, BTW) and it does not have a digital readout, so the exact speed is difficult to measure.

If the tower looks anything like the Illusion, we will be taking a beating on WW again for being an imitator and not an innovator. The copycat MC thing still gets press occasionally, but I am OK with it, because it is a very positive thing for the boat in general, IMO.

If you copy a tower that has some serious deficiencies (height and speaker placement), then you suck.

Obviously, this is just huge speculation, since the only guys who have seen it are not speaking up...I am stoked to see the thing!!!!!!!!

Speed Set is integrated into the Marine Power ECM. It would not work with the PCM engine without a complete re-work. Easier/cheaper to use the existing PCM GPS based speed control.

From what i've heard, the Speed Set will be available on the MP's until they run out of current stock pile of engines.

If they do make the switch to PCM engines it would have a different ECM and SpeedSet was in the ECM calibrations, could be transfered one would think.

According to Rhinda that means an upgrade in software for only $219.00 to get Diacom to work next year also.
