You are enamored about that 1/4 inch when the boat already is one of the heaviest boats in its class. How thick do you think it should be? should it be 3/4 an inch for the whole hull?
If it was the boats bottom keel it does not need to be real thick because it is supported by a larger surface area and the pressure to the water.
My 1994 Four Winns was around 1/8" and other than me using too long off a screw when adding a bilge pump that was never an issue.

Well some of the 05 and 06 hull were 3/4 thick, as some pointed out when they installed their ballast system. It worked than why not now?

How 'bout we trade boats. Mine's 1/2" on the sides, almost 1" on the hull and over 1" on the transom. I can tow an aircraft carrier with my ski pylon.
I do have wood stringers, but they appear to be stiffer than the other guys (kinda gives me a woody, too) It weights 400lbs more than your boat empty,so it puts off a nice wake.

we also measured the whole piece . In your picture you are about an 1/8 inch low with the tape measure from the top. That looks like at least a 1/2 inch thick to me and puts into line with the others .
The cost of the boats has to go up at least the cost of annual inflation at a minimum or the manufacturers profits erode. Normally 3-6% is safe to assume for inflation. This year looks to be especially ugly in terms of inflation so my unprofessional opinion would be to look for a larger than normal leap in price (assuming Tige leaders possess basic business skills, and I'm inclined to think they do )

I know that there will be a new gel-coat color scheme. I've seen pictures! I was sworn not to reveal it on here because it hadn't been released to the public yet. It's a lot more "radical" than the current options.
I know what the tower looks like.... but I'm not saying 4 fear of the reprocussions.
Lets just say I'm glad I didn't say anything.
I'm trying to get u boys a psuedo sneak peak of one on a boat, if someone will do the photoshop for me. I won't post it up until the day b4 the pro-am though. You guys can wait 2 weeks can't u?
