I agree on the bracing part, but that is why I like the SWITCHBLADE, it just has the one tube, and the 2 braces, no other tubes. And for me, I have 4 wakeboards, and 4 surfboards on my tower. I can't see fitting that on an illusion.

Correction to above post, I have a SWITCHBLADE, not a RAZOR.
You need a pontoon with all that gear
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Metcraft builds the illusion tower. So chances are it may come from Metcraft as well. Just my 2 cents.

I will say that the Illusion tower is very stable, probably the most stable I have ever seen. I don't care for how short it is and the lack of bimini space though.

My favorite tower is still the Roswell tower they put on the Supra Gravity Games Edition. I just love that drop-down bimini that stored your surfboards. Since it's constructed like a T-Top, you never have to fold it down.

My vote as well goes for the Supra bimini and tower.

The illusion is way to short for me as well, but it is very stable. The tower speakers end up quite a ways forward over the cabin and lower on the side, so they really blast the boat occupants. Today's high power speakers need to be up high so that the rider can hear them and the occupants can still hear themselves think.
          Be excellent to one another.

X3!! I love that bimini. At the risk of getting flamed, it would be a great place to store tubes on too.

The best solution for this is a helmet with an integrated MP3 player. If it had wireless, you could send the music to the rider.

Actually, that boat had a lot of nice features. I liked the playpen up front with the extra fold-up seatback where the walkway would be. Underneath was all ballast. If it were made by Tige and had the TAPS/Convex V hull, I would have bought it. It was pretty hard walking away from it as it was given the smokin' deal they were offering as a model-year close-out.

I think the freeboard is too shallow on the Supra's. I like the deep freeboard's that the Tige's have.

I have a 22ft pontoon. We used it on Sundays after church on the lake to relax and use the waverunners. Its a blast.

On the illusion towers, I def agree they put the speakers to far forward. When you have to blast the towers so that the rider can hear it well, it can blast people sitting in the very rear. Much worse if the tower speakers are almost forward of the driver.

I agree. I am not a fan of the forward leaning Bu towers at ALL.

That's the Cargo Bimini and it's a $1500 option on all Supra's and Moomba's. It is awesome, well made and freeway stable to 65mph. The only reason i didn't get it is that i have to fold the tower each and everytime i store the boat, and it won't fold down with the tower so i'd have to remove it everytime ... NOT! I'm having a custom Tower Bimini made next year instead to my specs that'll perfom similar without the hassle.
