if that was the tower in the pic above, it should be moved foward about to where the top far part of the tower is hanging right or just before the front wind sheild. also needs to be beefier somehow towards the top. But hopefully its not. I loved the old towers!

I made the suggestion of a drain in the floor and chrome tips on the exhaust over two years ago. Nothing yet on either one!

Those both seem to be great ideas. Would be interesting to see if they eventually do put them on this year. I would also make the boats more appealing.

Yep I remember when you made the suggestion. But hey, you know Tige.... if we keep bringing it up.... maybe it will make it onto the boats.... even if in 2010.

The chrome tips... I see that as something that should DEFINATELY be an option and not just standard. As I don't see any purpose in them, except for on the dock. Of course I say this... but yet, I've got 20's for my trailer Talk about hypocritical...lol.

Chrome tips are cool on a car/truck, but you cant see them when the boat is in the water, and they would be removed during the installation of the FAE

I heard the new tower is the Illusion tower. I have also heard that GPS based PP is possible and I know the 30 sec ballast is on its way. I am very curious to see the cost difference of the boats. What I can say is they are going to really give Malibu and others a real run for the money. I still think TIGE builds the best wake at least for me the scariest wake. But I have never been behind a BU 24.7 so I don't know what those wakes are like.

The illusion is way too short (it has to, to be to fold down behind the windshield). If you stand up, those wetsounds will be blasting directly into your ear canal, or giving you a few stitches on your forehead.

IMO, it will be similar but definitely NOT the same.

I LOVE that forward swooping tower becasue of the lack of bracing--just more ugliness to add more tubing pieces if you ask me. LESS IS BETTER!!!

Shipyard is a dealer, so he might have a little insight

I would love to have atleast the option to get a full non-skid liner with snap-out carpet, since I use my boat in saltwater the fixed carpet thing is truly my only issue with my current boat. Obviously I bought it and love it regardless, but a wash it and forget about it floor would be sooooo awesome.

Also, I have yet to see a malibu with an illusion tower that had a decent bimini top. They all have that little thing that I call a skull cap. We were VERY close to ordering a 247, and were looking to special order with the larger top, that also had a frame and you could store a tube on it, but it was still very small.

I agree on the bracing part, but that is why I like the SWITCHBLADE, it just has the one tube, and the 2 braces, no other tubes. And for me, I have 4 wakeboards, and 4 surfboards on my tower. I can't see fitting that on an illusion.

Correction to above post, I have a SWITCHBLADE, not a RAZOR.
