I thought no one had any complaints about the 07 and 08 speedset. My buddy's 06 speedset sucks, but that is because of the fact it shuts off when you turn the engine off ( just like my other friend's 07 Bu, BTW) and it does not have a digital readout, so the exact speed is difficult to measure.

If the tower looks anything like the Illusion, we will be taking a beating on WW again for being an imitator and not an innovator. The copycat MC thing still gets press occasionally, but I am OK with it, because it is a very positive thing for the boat in general, IMO.

If you copy a tower that has some serious deficiencies (height and speaker placement), then you suck.

Obviously, this is just huge speculation, since the only guys who have seen it are not speaking up...I am stoked to see the thing!!!!!!!!

I agree with you about wakeworld, I quit going there it seems like a big group of negative Tige hating people. If you don't have a Malibu your un-cool.

If you are correct that the boats will be on display Friday I will take some pictures and get them on.

If I was in a river that had a frequently changing current, I would begin to question why my boat is in this river.

I use my boat in a lot of channels in the ICW and there are some very swift tidal changes sometimes. I use these areas because they are the only place to go and I'm not afraid to take my boat in the saltwater. I guess I would just not order the gps cruise.

I heard a rumor that the new tower would be some sort of integrated tower and windshield frame, If done right it could be pretty sick, and also innovative. It gets kind of annoying trying to look between the window frame and the tower tube on my 22 ve e-tower at times. love to see some pics!

It's a total guess but they can't follow any other boat manufacture's tower or they will be coping. IMO, this is the only tower that would make sense and not follow any other manufacturers tower.

I like it but I think it should be more forward swept.

I dont think forward swept would be a good idea. wakecraft allready did the copy on that, although i do believe that kind of thinking is what has launched malibu to the top of sales, styling and image first, not quality or performance. anyway here is my try in unfortunatly paint program.

That would be great, save me a 45 minute drive each direction to the dealer to see what the new models look like.
