That would be sweet if it was nothing more then a diff software package for the ECM and be able to offer both with the PCM.

I couldn't stand the Illusion tower at first. So much so, my first Bu had the Titan III. I have now grown to love the forward swoop tower. It is very solid, very easy to put up and down, and provides unobstructed view for the driver. The things I am don't like about it are the lack or mirror mount possibilities and how it does put the speakers further forward than preferred. But I have found that my Wetsounds are hardly ever used any ways. I do have $2 earplugs in the glovebox as a solution if we do listen to them at extended periods.

BTW - The thing about Bu's speed control turning off when ignition is turned off is really stupid. It is the one thing about it I would change. I have had to get myself into a habit of making sure it is on every time some drops in the water.

That's pretty dumb! There's really no reason for that, either. I love PP because it never does that.

No, I mean to get the Diacom software to work on the new 2009 engines techs will have to spend another $219.00 for a software upgrade.

From what i've heard, the Speed Set will be available on the MP's until they run out of current stock pile of engines.
            Is this possibly ZeroOff?

What's the one that Nautique uses? That's a GPS based one as I recall.

I would like to see how the gps based cruise control compensates...if it does, for current in the water? I also like the look of the swoop tower, one reason I would've liked a bu, but I see some huge negatives with the height and speaker placement. As it is I have the tower speakers and cabin/sub set-up so that I can fade front or back to adjust the speaker level.

GPS doesn't compensate for current, but that wouldn't deter me at all. I have used the Zero Off system on a Xstar prototype and it was incredible. Held speed like no other. CC has a 1 year exlusive to the system in 2008. expect to see it more in 2009 boats.

If I were riding at a river that had a steady current, I would just manually compensate by adjusting the target speed. If I was in a river that had a frequently changing current, I would begin to question why my boat is in this river.

Personally I love the forward swoop. Here's another rendering of my own doing. I doubt Tige will exactly copy the Illusion, but I did it anyways!
We're just waiting for Tige to accept the order for the 09's then this is basically what I'll be getting! ... well.... with the new tower at least!

I further rendered a solution to those of you who think the bimini is too low and the speakers too far forward on the illusion tower.

                            You know who you are.
