Ok this has taken me way to long but work is dead today and were going out tonight so i got the boat cleaned up and hooked up, figured might as well take some pictures cause i know how we all love them. The boat is a 2006 20V i bought as a carry over in august last year, it has the mercruiser 350 tow sports mag and tower of power sound, unfortunately no ballast but it might happen yet this year, the boat has a whopping 26 hours on it. My truck is a 2007 Chevy 2500 diesel, dont even know the boats back there, hopefully it doesnt sell cause i love it so much.

I know the diesel is a bit much, but i always like to have one on the lot (car dealer) and my old baja was a heavy one so got used to pulling with a diesel and dont think i can go back, plus i have a big enclosed snowmobile trailer and pull cars occasionally.Last edited by brody66; 06-10-2008, 07:33 PM.

Its pretty good, to be completley honest with my skill level i would be fine behind an i/o, i am just a novice and dont really go big, i cant afford to get hurt being a one man show, not that that is a good excuse but the wake suits me great, however i want to try surfing and we all got on one side and i think that the wake will be sufficient to do so.

Ya i learned behind my 20 ft baja outlaw, and if you know anything about performance boats they suck out of the hole, so then i went to a 23 ft baja boss and that really sucked out of the hole and you can not imagine how much fuel that thing consumed, not fun filling 75 gallon tanks everyday and not even being out all day, i started having problems with the boat and by this time wake boarding and skating was all we were doing, my dealer knew that and wanted me to try out a tige, i thought i was going to go and buy a used 2100v and ended up going home with a new 20v, oh well for sure i miss an extra 25 mph and the selectable exhaust, but dont really have any complaints, just wish i could afford both, but it has givin me ambition to get my 1973 tahiti jet boat running again.

I started wakeboarding 15 years ago behind my dads 1981 Eliminator jet boat...my brother & I begged him to put a tower on it for ever. Than we grew up, got jobs and bought our own wakeboard boats.
Now he sold the eliminator, went through a midlife crisis and bought a Howard 28' Bullet

Those boats are amazing, what engine did he get, by the way my dad bought the 73 tahiti brand new, thats what everyone used to ski behind back then, it sat in the shed for about 12 years, after my dad passed away i got it out and everyone 50 years old and older would stop by and talk about how ther were either in that boat or saw it back in the 70s.
