Not sure if anyone else has had this happen to them, but I am not pleased. A couple of weeks ago we got some really heavy rain in our area and water pooled up in my bimini and actually bent/broke a supporrting pole on each side!! The 20 yr old Bayliner next to me showed no ill effects from the rain (bimini wise). Apparently Tige went to a different bimini design in 08, and the canvas would have to be custom cut and sewn as to not interfere with my tower speakers! Just feel like I shouldn't have to come out of pocket for a replacement bimini on a brand new boat due to Tige's poor design.

Do you have the Tige extended bimini? If it's adjusted correctly, it should not really collect any amount of water

I am with you, FP. Every time Tige changes towers or biminis it appears that a 7 year old designs the matching part and it comes across as an afterthought. THey are coming out with a brand new tower in 2009 and I am frankly a little scared to get one. History has not been kind. I hear nothing but good things about the new tower, but definitely would want to see it before buying.
My 2005 is very good I think because they did not make any great changes for a couple of years, and were able to get it dialed in just right.Be excellent to one another.

I have the same problem and I hate my bimini. I LOVE MY TIGE!The laughter of the world is merely loneliness pathetically trying to reassure itself. - Neal A. Maxwell
