I am sure that there will some that do not agree with my statement, but....we have the VisionAir chair that came from the factory as an upgrade. I really like the chair and I sweat considerably less than in a normal chair with the high temperatures we have in Texas. I will never NOT have one of these chairs!!!

With that said, I do think that the flip up (bolster) on the VisionAir is not as comfortable as what Tige offers in their present standard line of seats. I just wanted to point this out that the VisionAir is great for normal sitting, but not for the flipped-up sitting in my opinion.

I agree with you on that one, but we use it so rarely and I didn't even have a flip-up bolster before on that boat, so it's all a matter of perspective.

FYI, you do need to be careful with these chairs. Don't stand on the seat bottom or kneel on it or you risk the chair tearing. Then you'll have to send it back to Attwood to get it fixed. They fixed mine under warranty and so far so good on the new one.

I've done both, I haven't seen any issues with it. FYI, I don't ever use the flip up bolster on mine as I usually don't need it. On my old boat with the flip up, I used it all of the time.

I use the flip up bolster all the time. I am a little height impaired at 5'8". Not to mention the 9" pedestal on the bottom of the Vision Air Chair...
