Many seats have that option. It is usually called a "flip up bolster". I use mine when loading on the trailer or when pulling someone.

Attwood makes both the Vision Air and the std seat for Tige, I believe.

It's got the same mesh material, but it's not exactly the same chair as Tige has. The Tige chair is definitely an upgrade. Not $300 worth of upgrade, but it's definitely an upgrade.

FYI, you do need to be careful with these chairs. Don't stand on the seat bottom or kneel on it or you risk the chair tearing. Then you'll have to send it back to Attwood to get it fixed. They fixed mine under warranty and so far so good on the new one.

Bolster seats are great for activities like surfing. The wife loves it as she's ... ahem ... vertically challenged anyway

Wow dems are nice chairs!!! I use the bolster pretty much constantly. I am not vertically challenged but my boat does not react well to floating wood.

I am sure that there will some that do not agree with my statement, but....we have the VisionAir chair that came from the factory as an upgrade. I really like the chair and I sweat considerably less than in a normal chair with the high temperatures we have in Texas. I will never NOT have one of these chairs!!!

With that said, I do think that the flip up (bolster) on the VisionAir is not as comfortable as what Tige offers in their present standard line of seats. I just wanted to point this out that the VisionAir is great for normal sitting, but not for the flipped-up sitting in my opinion.
