I have a 2002 22i type R Tige boat
I would like to know if anyone has had a problem with an alarm sounding with no signs of any problem. Oil pressure, water temp, charging systems all appear to be fine.
Supply water pump was replaced at the end of last season and I have removed the hoses from the trans cooler no debris was found. I have not checked the fuel pressure as of yet but will this weekend.
The boat has had a complete service at the first of this season plugs, wires, cap, rotor and all filter and fluids. I known the boat has a 350 mpi engine and I am very familiar with this type of fuel and computer systems in the automotive world. I can pin test all of the sensors if nessasary but I am not sure what all the alarm system is monitoring. One other problem that has just started is that at idle the engine has started stalling. l have checked the throttle plate for carbon but it was clean. It acts as if the idle air control valve is not responding quick enough. But the engine runs great under all other throttle.
