    broken seat bottom

Ok so i left the cover off my boat and it has been raining for two days so i brought it to my shop today to dry it out and i took the front seat cushion out and noticed that the seat bottom is cracked, anyone else ever have this happen, i have never jumped on it and people hardly ever sit in the front, can this be covered by warranty or will they say it was abused?

Yup, has happened to me in the 24Ve and the new RZ2 will be the next one. It is under warranty for the backing however, you will need to pay to have the vinyl attached.

        broken seat bottom

Ok so i left the cover off my boat and its been raining in mn for the last two days, i brought it to my shop to dry it out and took all the seat bottoms out to clean and dry the compartments, that is when i noticed that one of the front seats were cracked on the bottom, is this something warranty will fix or are they going to say they were abused? I have never seen anyone even stand on the front seats and hardly anyone ever sits up there, have no clue how it got cracked, or when even though i clean the whole boat very often never noticed it. Sorry i posted in the "i" section on accident too.

I had the same issue happen to me on my 2005 22V. I cost me $120 to fix it.

Those plastic seats are not very strong. I do not allow anyone to stand on it any longer.

Had that happen on my 02 20V. They do not hold a 270# person running across it
              Let it be!!!

That much to swap the skin and foam over to a new bottom all it takes is a staple gun, box off SS upolstery staples, and a .5 hr.

                      send it my way

I am with CHP on this one. You can buy your own staple brad gun at Lowe's or Home Depot for less than that I just had the back seat top white portion replaced they had to cut the raw material and sew it up and then recover the seat and it cost me $30.00. You can not even tell that the work was done. You guys are getting killed on price for that stuff.

Is it always the front seats that break or have other people had problems with the main cockpit seats?

I just had that happen to mine on my front starboard seat base. Not sure how it happened. I am thinking it maybe from having a ballast bag up there while surfing.
