    Dumb Arce of the Week

This weekend out at the Colorado River I witnessed one of the dumbest things. A guy is doing about 30 mph up river with 2 people on the very top of the tower pulling a tube about 6-10 feet from behind the boat with 2 people in. The worst thing they were driving a Tige!

I hate seeing people do stupid stuff that can jeopardize others lives and create more legislation in the boating world.

Outside of seeing that we had a great weekend with perfect weather.

You didn't have a camera so we could have seen how stupid they were?

Well, that was really stupid of them.

The idiots ARE out already. Today was the first good 80+ day here in MN, and I had to wait for about 30 mins at the ramp watching complete morons try to put their little 16 foot fishing boats in the water, whilst 6-7 other boats crowded the docks. It was funny at first, but then I started to get frustrated. It just amazes me how oblivious some people are to the fact that there are 15 boats waiting to put in, and they are situating their fishing rods taking up the ramp. UGH!

Oh, and yeah the whole riding on the tower thing....not smart. And did you say towing a tube 6-10 feet back?

Two weeks ago we witnessed the idiot factor in full effect at the boat launch. Two 19-20 year old morons in that new 24' seadoo wakeboat were trying to turn their boat around between the two docks that are on either side of the lauch, which at best is 40' across. It was plainly obvious by the tattoos and bling that these kids make a living pushing dope and were clearly wasted at the time. As you all know you can't turn a jet boat unless it's under power, so as they started to drift towards another boat that was being launched, they moron behind the wheel gunned the engine to turn becuase he panicked and slammed the back of his boat into the back of this other boat. He almost pinned a woman and her daughter in between their boat and the dock as they were in the water pulling the boat towards the dock. They then proceeded to just take off up the lake, like nothing happened.

Time to write down their tag numbers and call the authorities. I bet they'd find them PDQ.

                          xpjim1,

We have a place on the water about 2 miles or so above the Needles Bridge with our own launch ramp.

Were up there pretty much every other weekend from March to October...
