It is e85 compliant and will fall back to 4 cylinders when it can and you don't notice it. Talk about discounts from MSRP or invoice.
Have any of you heard your not to tow your boat when you have a tank of
E85?? Someone told me you burn up your valves towing with E85.

One way to cut down on gas is to live on the lake. Zero cost for the vehicle to tow back and forth to the water way.

I think that my higher taxes from living on the lake could buy me a ton of fuel, if my house were across the street the difference would pay my years fuel bill for the boat

Another side thread group. The powercoat disbanders. It coming off my port side like it was snowin yellow snow for all it is worth. Starboard is not as bad, it has only snowed a little there. It is just my uprights that are powder coated.

Yup, seems like I have been preaching to this fact but yet everyone continues to tell me that it looks good. Maybe the first year but the 2nd, 3rd, ... look horrible.

Who does the powdercoating? Is it covered under warranty?

The powdercoating is done by Tige and since the uprights are a movable item, they do no warranty the powdercoating. I know this first hand and will ALWAYS advise people stay away from powdercoating the tower and/or the uprights.

Sorry guys, rant over. It's like beating a dead horse from the original reason why I started posting on this website.

Well I have my first 2.2 hours on the boat. I love the dash lights at night. The light under the swim platform is really cool. The stereo rocks. I don't think there is anything I don't like about the boat at this point.

"Bad to the Bone" will definitely be on my iPod playlist.

We had 9 (4 adults and 5 kids) and was comfortable. I could not imagine 15 people in that boat.

Thanks for the heads up on the powdercoating. I did not have alot of choice on the powercoating since it was a boat they already had in stock.

Thats a good point! Time is another factor. We go out for 30-45 minutes alot and would not be able to do that as often if I had to launch a boat.

                          Andy,
Thanks! Lonnie spoke to Skyski for me and they are going to build an adapter so I can use the Comptech swivel rack on that tower.

1Lab... on your Tahoe, that is amazing mileage. I have an '06 Expedition and really like the looks of the new Tahoe. If you dont mind me asking, which model did you get, MSRP and what did you end up giving for it? Thanks!!

First I have to say very nice boat since this thread is about the new boat.

Now for power coat. Mine just started to come of this year. Over the winter I will probably have them sand blasted and polished. I hope TIGE goes away from Powered coating all together. That stuff is horrible once it starts to fade and if it ever chips or flaks which it will it looks like crap. Just my thoughts.
