^^^ Onevalkarie is a no show to the PMs sent.
    You still around Onevalkerie???

I'll send it out to the next person on the list as soon as I get a mailing address to send it to.

It was a great time. I was able to get up and surf with a slack rope most of the time. Definitely NEED PP though! Also, when we went into the shallower areas our wake DISAPPEARED. If it wasn't for shallow spots I could have ditched the rope with little more than 15 minutes of riding time. Easy to learn and fun to do!!!
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

With the sack in the back compartment it will fill 3/4+ the way up. The wave kicked butt. It was super big at about 11mph (my speedo SUCKS, take that with a grain of salt) but it was really short. At the top of the wave I was actually looking DOWN into the boat it was so big. I had to lean WAY back on the board to slow it down with the balast bag back there. Taps did nothing. I think with another 400# bag in the bow the wave would have been much longer and much better. My buddies could not go wo it was just my skinny wife and my little kids in the boat--not good ballast The first time I tried it I put the bag on the seat but it fell off onto the middle of the floor--good luck moving that thing--and it did little to help the surf wake there.

Next summer I am putting 2 v-drive sacks in the back compartment and one 400# in the bow and I'll see how that works. I have a pretty good feeling that will work well.

Very cool, I guess if onevalkyrie doesn't chime in, and no one else can use it this season, you can send back to me. Let's wait a week.

It looks like your project was a success Ragboy. Kudos to you for being so generous with your toys and spreading the wakesurfing sports around the country.

I propose that next year you send it to various lawmakers in the states that are considering making wakesurfing illegal so that they can see it firsthand and learn to do it and love it. Maybe that way they wouldn't outlaw it.

No problem. I think I may just go buy some sacks to see if I can better my wave. I'll keep on playing if nobody steps up

I was going to send you the wetsuit today, but I'll wait to see what happens with this. May just as well send it w/ the board and save 5$.

Answer is yes, even if we catch a day too cold it will let us see how it affects the wake and whether we want to invest in some ballast and pop bags this winter. Looking forward to seeing some of you guys in person one of these days Lord willing.

It's on its way to you Onevalkyrie. A word of warning to you guys, the shipping was $150. I had anticipated $75ish. Maybe I'm an idiot?

It was a lot of fun, thanks again Ragboy!!!

Looking forward to it even if the shipping is that high it will be cheap "rental" to find out how much difference the weight will make. Thanks Jason for getting it on down the road and especially to Ragboy for making it all possible.

Yeah, $150 is a drop in the bucket when you think what it would cost to find out you didn't enjoy it after you bought everything you need.
If only I could have had the chance to spend $150 before I tried out marriage

I think I paid like $100 the first ship I did of this, and packed it right. It is very big with the landlock, and very heavy with the 750 sac, so $150 is about right for a longer distance. I wish it was cheaper, but I couldn't control that. Also, the landlock is def big, but it is DEF the right board to learn on. Learning to surf is so much more fun when you can let go of the rope and the landlock makes that much easier with its size and stability. It is def not the best board to keep riding, but an awesome learner.

If someone would like to donate a real surfrope, I will keep it all together and start this again next season. It only cost me about $150 to get all the packaging and first ship. Worth it to see a bunch of new people surf.
