This weekend would work out great! We are supposed to be back in the low 100's after a week of overcast crap weather.

Here are a couple pics of me trying to surf.
Sorry these aren't from the weekend I had Ragboys board, but since I dn't have access to those pictures yet I hoped these might suffice.

And lastly, the "You are going way to slow for me to even be above the water look"

I will try to find some other good ones, but this is all my computer at work has.

My tracking number indicates that the package was delivered on Friday. Hopefully they were/are using it this weekend.

By the look on your face it's not as easy maybe as some of the cats on here make it look!? Were you using any ballast?
I need to make friends with some fat girls before the board setup heads my way. lol
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

For these pictures we didn't have any ballast and only 3 people in the boat. My experience tells me that the closer you get to the wake and "In the pocket" the easier it gets. If you notice in the pictures when I am making a funny face I am not close to the wake, in the last picture I was 12" underwater.
Disclaimer: I am not good at this surfing thing at all. Please take anything I say with that in mind.

It's easy....once you get the hang of it! I got my 80 lb daughter up on the board with me this past weekend, that was not easy!

I cannot wait until i get that package at my door, it will most likely cost me some money, like a board and a ballast system, sounds like a great winter project

Alright, we took out two of the usual crew this afternoon. We finally had some decent water. I cannot believe the difference in the wake size and shape. I am working on resizing the surf wake pics. Thanks again RB, you are awesome!!!

Alright, here we go. I am definitely looking forward to the day I can surf for more than 30 sec without the stinkin' rope.

That 4' skim is going to make it more difficult, did you try the landlock? The skim is much more squirly, and needs a bigger wake to push you. The landlock will float you more, is more stable, and doesn't require a big wake.

RB - I am going to try to get the crew out tonight to try the Landlock. We tried it this weekend but the lake itself had 3-4' swells. I will put up some pics tonight showing the crap water we had. Hopefully people can get off work early enough, I would love to try the LL on good water.

What is your speed and TAPS setting? Looks awfully fast in those pics Your 22Ve is surfable, with a good board, with no weight added, just a few peeps. Puts out a real good wake with around 1k or more.

Mike, I had the TAPS set at 3.5, speed was about 11-13, we had RB's fat sac (I'd guess about 650#) in the front, and probably 800# of riders in the boat. I don't know if I need a longer rope to find the 'sweet spot' ?
