Well, anything on a glassy lake is fun.

Including running through a slalom course pulling hard for every ball!

Let's take inventory. I have ski's for multi levels of slaloming even an Obrien shaped ski. I have no ballast and won't have it at best untill next year. Remember its a TigeCandy Corn colored 20V and it doesn't have to have ballast. j/k.

I would need either a wake board or a wakesurf board. So with stock wake I would venture to say I would be able to get up on wakeboard but not sure I would have enough wake to surf?

On the other part of the equation I have 150 more HP now so if I can keep my gimpy leg from collapsing skiing may be possible until I add ballast much to the detrimet of ski and tube storage.

Now, are you out of excuses why you can't do wakesurfing now? j/k

Hey give me a day to see if I can find legit issues why not. Can you actually surf off a stock 20V wake

Has anyone surfed behind a stock 20V? I have been thinking of trying it too, but don't know if my wake would cut it.

Not the 20V, but you can see the surf wake of the 22Ve prototype in my gallery. The only ballast was the people in the boat. You will need at least 5 or 6 adults in the boat. One of them was me, so, like Alvie, I add a lot of value to the surf wave. Now if I could only get the chicks to dig me, too....

We surfed the STOCK 24Ve, with NO ballast when we started. Just everyone got on one side and listed the boat over. Just start there, and see what the wake is like. If you only go out with just you and your wife, well you need ballast.

I actually have a 750 lb fat sac, that I don't use anymore. I have an idea, I would be happy to ship to you, to try surfing and learn. If you like it, go buy your own fat sac, and then find another tige owner, and ship it to them.

Someone have a pump to donate? The big 750 sac, just put on the floor of the center of your boat, as far back on the floor as possible, and ROLL it over to the side you want to surf. It takes up a lot of room, but good to figure out what you want to do. Its what I used before I got my vdrive sacs and my bow sac.

As far as board, a GREAT learning board for big or small is the hyperlite landlock.

Here's the surf wake on that 22Ve, no ballast. BTW, it was my son's first time surfing:

ragboy - I saw your other post, and thought about putting my name on the list. I don't have a board yet, so I don't want to put my name down, until I have one, or can borrow one.

If you're lucky enough to live on the lake, you're lucky enough.

on the other thread, you don't need a board, read it. I am going to ship a board, sac, and pump. Pretty much all you need.
