    Tige Show at Lake Brownwood

Well just got home from Lake Brownwood where Hook & Anchor Marina put on a great Weekend. They had the Tige Wakeboard team there and one of them even got my rope off the impeller after it got sucked under....long story.

They gave free lessons to the kids and I was told everyone got up.

The Marina helped me out tremendously after I flooded the engine area. One of the hoses to the motor popped off and got all the electricla crap wet. Starter went out and then the alternator connection burned up. I tried to replace the connector and the bolt broke off inside the alternator, not good. Boat is at the Marina getting fixed. If you go to Lake Brownwood the guys at Hook & Anchor are top notch.

It didn't break until late Sunday and they were still open.

Glad to hear that......Hook and Anchor in San Angelo is servicing my boat right now....so far, they have impressed me......they had their grand opening for that store a week ago and did a great job from what I could tell. They are really working to turn an older marina into a great place.
If you're lucky enough to live on the lake, you're lucky enough.

      Same Owner

as the one at Lake Brownwood. I know I will pay a little more for using a marina for the repairs but polite cusotmer sevice and dealer backing goes a long way in my book.

Also, will use them when I get ready to upgrade in a few years.

              Some more pics...

The 2nd and 3rd pic are pretty neat/ The camaro was my last patrol unit, it's a damn shame they stopped ,making them. I tried to baby the miles on it so I could keep it longer. The other one is a pic on the very top....and I mean very top of the Texas State Capitol in Austin, TX. Had a friend that works down there at the Capitol take us to the top while I was teaching there in January.

Next time I go to the Lake I will take a better camera and get some more pics.

Do I see a tube attached to your boat in that picture?

                  Yep...

put the kids in there and enjoy the peace and quiet going across the lake. That is my nephew sitting in it while we watch the Tige wakeboarders. Nephew pretty salty on the wakeboard though.

So if I come flying through Austin w/ a Tige sticker I'll beat the ticket right?
Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

                      Don't know about Austin

I only taught pursuit driving to the recruits for 6 weeks down there. I am stationed about 60 miles South of Lubbock. It is about 220 miles west of Lake Brownwood. You never know but membership has it's privileges...
