It is called snakeskin. Is your bimini hooked to the front loop? Does it ride very well in that position?

So, does the tower collapse ? ( PICS ) And does the bimini store leaning back and not straight up ?
I'm on a boat man. I got my flippy floppies....

The bimini is actually attached in three points, the front and back are with thumbscrews, and the center is where it is attached in the pic.

The bimini can fold in a couple of ways. When it is stored (booted as in pictures) it can be put in front of the front tower loop or behind the front tower loop. In the pics it is in front of the front tower loop. That is kind of hard to read!!

On the middle bar of the bimini is a sleve that is moved to reveal a pivot point when taking the bimini from open to closed. It is kind of hard to explain, but I will try to get some pics.

The bimini is about 6 foot 5 inches off the floor, I'm 6'3" and I can walk under it without ducking at all. It and the tower are the most sturdy I have ever seen, they are like rocks, not one shimmy or shake all day long

yes the tower does collapse. you have to take one of the allen bolts out of the Tige emblem strut and the whole thing folds forward. I will try to get a pic of this.

              Great looking boat!!

I was talking to my dealing about the new tower they have - he said 1 real bad thing about it is where the boards mount - if you have 2 on each side - it really hinders your left and right view from the drivers seat.

Do you notice this at all??

ALso - did you get the new captian chair w/ the flip up seat? Im thinking about ordering that chair for my 03.

yes, we did get the captains chair. I love it, it really helps when you are on a busy lake to kick the insert up so you can see, also the wife likes it because she is shorter.

The board racks can mount in a number of places, if you were to mount them on the cross bar above the window, you would have a difficult time. We are mounting ours on the upright, long tube in more of a conventional place. It will be better for us, as lower the boards stick out more horizontal and they would hit our dock slip.

BTW the new tower tube is 2 3/8 O.D.
