    Safety: CO and Skiboats

    The attached web-link has some very critical info regarding carbon monoxide poisonings that we should all be aware of as we use our tow-boats.

    Not to scare the dickens out of folks, but to ensure we all stay alive.

    Starting page 5, you'll get to read some critical stuff about why you should NOT have your motor running on any skiboat while folks are on or around the swim platform.

    I would think common sense would be enough. But oh wait I see it everyday at my job, and realize that lots of people lack that.

      Thats a very good post. Anytime your behind an internal combustion engine, especially a boat where the exhaust is under the swimstep, you will have the possiblity of Carbon Monoxide poisioning with prolonged exposure to exhaust fumes.
      My opinion is just that, MY OPINION!
