I'd contact Texas Tige, they're close by and can probably give you some good advice.

hey dude we have 4 time shares off of lake conroe and i will tell you that you are screwed for boarding on that lake unless it is early morn... we always headed out at 555 in the morn and it was good on the north side of the bridge till about 11.. the second cove on the left after the bridge.. stay to the left because of stumps

Conroe is choppy as can be right now. Good water only to be found before 8am. There is an area North of the 1097 bridge where there is no bulkhead and good water can be found if it is not too crowded.

Please see the A mark on the attached map.

You can see a road called Scott Ridge, you need to hug the shoreline at that point as there are alot of stumps out in the middle. You will see the stump line.

          Good luck!
If its not fun, Why do it?
