Interior Problems on '04s?

Just wondering if anyone else is having problems with their '03-'04 interior. Mines at the dealer as we speak, having almost all of the seating surface cushions' (i.e. the horizontal parts you sit on) skins replaced for tearing seams. Whats interesting is that ALL of them are where the inner roll meets the main panel, and on the 2005s, they have this completely separated, which completely alleviates the stress on the area where mine is torn. Thankfully, the Ski dock has been more than helpful in getting replacement skins, but what concerns me is that the boat is only 5 months from when we took delivery (problem started at 4 months) and although we've already got 115 hours on it. what happens this time next year if/when it recurs? The boat is kept indoors and is not abused during use.

Our 24v just turned a year in July and I have had one skin replaced in the rear but sadly I am looking at replacing more in the not so distant future. Not good with a boat that has only 90 hours on it.

are yours wearing in the same areas as mine? They're all at the seam where the roll meets the main panel, on the side closest to the center of the boat.

My 02 had similar seams and was just barely starting to show some wear in the area you are referring to. Sounds like the folks at corporate have seen this problem and have acted to fix it. I hope they stand behind you as long as you own the boat.

Same area. Kids come in off the back and step down on the seat and well, sounds like you know exactly what I'm talking about. The seats are comfy and look great but they need to last longer. Oh and in case anybody is wondering, yes the boat is covered and stored indoors.

INTERIOR PROBLEMS

I have an '02 that did the same. Tige was good about helping though. The seats are not stuffed as tight as before and are much more comfortable.

Wow, I don't look forward to having that problem with my 04!!!

In all honesty the seats in my 05 are not as comfortable (but not bad by any stretch) as the seats in my 02, but I would gladly trade that for some durability issues.

my 2001 21v is starting show tears in the seam on the top have of the lounge seats at the seams only 75hrs dealer says to contact Tige' any one see this on the 01's. A friend said Tige' has a five year warranty on this any one deal with this?

just had mine replaced! dont know if I still have the pics anywhere. The new interior is perfect...lets hope it stays that way!

Tige must have changed fabrics or suppliers. My boat is a '98 and my seats are just now starting to have problems.

I have an 01 21V with the same problem starting this season. Tige has yet to respond to my calls, and emails. I dont have a dealer close as the one in SLO Cali. has done me wrong in the past. The next closest dealer is five hours away in Sacramento.

When I brought my boat to the dealer the contract mechanic " The Boat Doc" did more damage to my boat and handed me the warranty parts to replace myself. This was in Atascadero. ( Mid State)
