Question on Perfect Pass & Depth Finder

I will be replacing my Faria Speedo (depth finder included) with a Perfect Pass Wakeboard Pro. Problem is the wakeboard pro does not have a depth finder. I need a depth finder and need recommendations on my options. Since the Perfect Pass will take the place of the Speedo/Depth FInder, where can I put the depth finder? Any suggested models?

You can pick up depth finders seperately.

But I would consider putting it in a different location other than the speedo.

      I have a hummingbird and it's a 2.5" gauge.

My dash - Where do I mount the Depth Sounder

Ok, here is my dash, if I take out the Speedo/Depth finder and put a Perfect Pass in it's place, where do I add on the after market gauge?

I would put it in that blank space on the right, next to the taps guage. Some depth finders are the same size as those smaller guages.

That's not going to look very good and he'll need to cut a major hole in his dash.

Get one of the Faria 4-1 guages. Temp, Oil Press, Fuel and volts all in one. Then you got plenty of room.

Not without going and crawling under my dash

Here is a link to the Faria site for marine gauges: http://www.faria-instruments.com/marine.php

The combo gauges are in the second to the last row. I actually got mine off ebay...was a steal

I do have a Faria catalog sitting at home that I have not looked at yet. Apparently they have more in their catalog than they do online.

Anyone have trouble reading the Faria depth gage readings in the sun? Other than me. My numbers get washed out. No problem with clouds or night with the back light. (Back light in the sun does not help.)

I have noticed it a little, sometimes polarized sunglasses can affect that, and also the angle affects it, sometimes I need to sit up and look or cup my hands around the guage.
