    Surfboard prices

Where are you guys finding the best deals on wake surfers? I was thinking of getting a 2007.5 Yellow Loogey, or a 2008 Green Loogey. I have a Broadcast and want to get something smaller as well. I'll try and post some pics of the maiden voyage of the new boat and the wakesurfing behind it. We have a few videos but I'm not able to post them on here.

boardersmall.com has the 7.5 loogey for about 350. Otherwise 450 for the 08s. 475 if you go direct to inland.

Yeah, I checked them out. Just seeing if there were any other cheaper sites that you guys had come across. Thanks!

I just rode the Liquid Force Custom 4.2 and really liked it. May be a bit small for a small for bigger beginner riders, or a smaller wake. I want to ride the 4.10, but dont think we got one in stock.

I just bought a 2007.5 yellow loogey from bordersmall.com (thanks to xpjim) for under 300 shipped, which I think is a great deal. The prices might come down more but you'll probably have to wait until the end of summer for that. If you go to some of the other wakeboarding sites and put it out there that you are looking for one, someone might step up and sell a used one for less money.

redtagsports.com has a deal of the day that sometimes features surf boards. Also, http://www.the-house.com/wakesurf.html has some that they feature on a deal of the day in addition to boarders mall.

It is suppose to arrive tomorrow. I called my friend at UPS so that he could drop it off in our backyard. That way I can "integrate" it with my other boards and maybe my wife wont notice anything different.

So when are you going to send the check for the 2007 yellow loogey that I'll be selling?

A few years ago I bought a 6'4" liquid shredder soft board. I still pull it out evey once and a while. There not wake specific but do work and are good quality. I would'nt go any larger then a 6 footer but they are a blast and soft so no worries of damage to the back of the boat.
FYI the weights they suggest are for ocean surfing my 6'4 had a 280lbs football player surfing no problem.
