Two sides to every story. My guess is Performance has tried to help this guy many times, but for whatever reason not up to his/her standards and then customer threatens to sue. That essentially handcuffs the dealer and Tige and they both will become very hesitant to help out. Donuts and Coffee to the service department works better than any yelling/threatening ever will.

I wish you good luck, but I'm going to sit back with my popcorn and watch the show.

I have had to have the seat replaced 3 times with them and the last set is two seasons in and falling apart again. I had to pay to ship the boat back to the for this last set costing me $1000 and a ton of time. I found a local upholster to do them right this time for less that $5700 with material that will last and they are refusing to pay for it. Yes the boat is 6 years old, but the seats are only two years old and should last many years. Everyone that I talk to says they where put together poorly, with no re-enforcement at the seam and the material is sub par. They are forcing me to sue them and I will. If you are having similar problems feel free to reach out to me at jeff@RMRM.net.
Be sure to shop elsewhere for a boat $80+ for a Tige! You mine as well buy a Bayliner. There dealers are jerks as well, unprofessional and complete lairs. Performance Marine in Osage Beach made this the worst experience ever, with poor service and the owner is a complete thug!
Normally I could care less as most of the time I see posts like this and the word "sue" comes out of the OP's mouth it a good indication that the person is a complete jerk to deal with! Not just this forum but on many other boat forums you see these rants and what good does it do? Your boat is almost 7 years old get over it!!

You purchased a 6+ year old boat and the seat has given out BFD its a boat and it happens! Now you also said it has been replaced several times and has given out everytime?? Seriously WTF are you doing to wear it out so fast and or cleaning it with or not cleaning it with perhaps?

Now for the comment about Joe at Performance and the crew there that's just an azzhole move on your part!! While I'm not with a Tige currently I still love the brand and what it stands for and have been a long time customer/supporter of Joe and his crew! I've never seen a dealer like Joe be able to replace more stuff either on his dime or under Tige warranty. He takes cares of his customers in anyway possible always has always will!! His mechanic Barry is top notch IMO and takes pride in what he does and his sales crew are top notch and knowledgeable about any brand of boat!

My guess is just like your posting on here you've spent hours trying to find dirt on performance or even the Tige brand when you could've been out enjoying your boat! So maybe drop the tough guy behind the keyboard BS and move on to another brand and good luck cause they all break down at some point!!

Exactly this. Joe and his crew are awesome. If customer is so angry and upset with Performance, instead of jumping on a computer and spending hours trying to bash Tige, the dealer, etc hook up the boat and drive to another dealership. Quick search shows Marine Max in Monkey Island, OK is 3 hours away from Performance.
