Congrats you will be blown away with the Hertz/Audison stuff. the full line ( wire included) is top notch...

They are big here in Canada for high end car/marine audio. everyone that has gone though our local shop has been matching the 3 some or double up with the Hertz HP4 amp and have been blown away.

Just like Wet sounds, you get what you pay for! match the best speakers on the market with a Hertz/ Audison amp and you have a very powerful loud system.

I have the 3 some with the Audison LRX4.1 and the clarity is absolutely unbelievable. People tell me they can hear it for over 1/2 a mile away crystal clear. And while talking through the EQ my riders and anyone else around can hear as if i were right beside them.

Just finished the install yesterday. I used ARC Audio amps a 300.4 for the tower and a 300.2 for the sub. I am waiting for a 900.6 that is on back order for interior speakers. I played the system for an hour and the amps did not get hot. In fact they barley got warm. The outside temp was 89 and the compartment with the amps was 106. My wife told me that she hopes and prays that no one was trying to take a nap or sleep in the neighbor hood because she could not even hear the TV inside the house while I was adjusting the system gains and such. I will post pics once i get all the wire cleaned up and tied back and the tower completely cleaned up. All I can say is it sound very clear and it is amazing at how power hungry the WetSounds are.

Ya baby, those are similar to the ones I have also. I have two 300.2's (one for the tower and one for the inside) and the 1000.1 for the sub. Great choice and you will like them. They don't get warm for me either.

Yea, I have to hang the speakers and post a pic today. I guess I will go do that now.

Dabell should like this. Here is the amps. i still have some work to do. I need to re-space them and I need to build a cover to hide all the wiring. Then I need to put in some exhaust fans and ventilation fans to move the 150+ degree air out of the compartment during the hot seasons. The other thing I want to do is find a way to try and keep water out of the compartment if I take water over the nose. The current vent under the window from TIGE. puts water right on the amps if I take it over the nose real good.

I do, looks like my setup.

                2 - KAR 300.2 amp and
                1 - KAR 1000.1 amp

I do like what you have done to hide those wires. I think I will need to do something like that. Will have you look at my setup during the reunion next month.

Whats with water over the nose????? Even with my new ballast system, no water over the nose yet.

Let me know what you do for fans. This was an issue for me last summer. Amps kicked off twice when it was really really hot out.

since everyone is giving up pics of tower speakers and things.. I thought i would throw in one.. Since i added a pro485.. I know it dont look the best the way i have mine set up. I would have had the bimini sent of and reworked to fit the tower if I would have put them all on the back bar.. They wont all find on the front bar..

I am not done hiding the wires just yet. I am building a cover over them with some Exhaust fans for the compartment to move the hot air out. My goal when I am done is to have the wire completly hidden. But the season heat hit and I decided working on it even in the shade was to much. So for now they are cleaned up the best they will get this season and come fall I will clean it up the rest of the way. Thank you for the compliment I sweated big time to get that done. Then that night I was sicker than a dog from heat stroke. But it was worth it.

Reason why I had someone professionally install my stereo. Okay, not to mention I am not electrical minded. I just left it to the professionals.

                            That looks great SPBFAN!

I am with you dave - might let the professionals do my system. I am electrical minded and have the tools, but I really really like leisure time!

When I finally get some time to put the boat on the water I will get pictures for the pro 80's and 60's and post it also. I posted with the pro 80's set up but not the 60's. I can't believe how loud the interior speakers are with these amps and the correct amount of power. I can run full volume and I don't have a any distortion. It is just flat out loud. To loud for me so I will never run full volume. I did it just once to see what it would sound like and to make sure when my 15 year old pushed the system he would not hurt it. Thanks for the complements.

DaBell what I did was ran 2/0 wire to the compartment form the back I to a fuse block then from the fuse block I used 6 gauge wire to the amps. I did the same on the ground side except I used a ground buss rather than a fuse block for that. I have four battery's for the system and all of them are hidden and not interfering with my storage compartments at all. I could fit 6 if needed. All I need now is to get the isolator hooked up and running and I should be set to go. But I will worry about that after summer. It will work for now the way it is.
