Tower colors & iPod docking

definitely do NOT get the powder coated tower to use in the saltwater. I have a powder coated tower used 99.9% in the saltwater and the edges are starting to show signs of saltwater getting under the powder coating and peeling it up. This next year I have a feeling I'll be getting all the powder coat removed and maybe polishing or clearcoating the tower. I bought a boat off the showroom floor so got what was on it, had I ordered it I would not have gotten anything on the tower.

Hey guys, i bought the CCA-IPOD cable and hooked it up and the headunit displays "No Ipod". I can still play the music through the stereo and control the voume and mute from all of the remotes but i can not surf through any genres/playlists/artists/etc from the headunit or remotes. I can also still control everything from the ipod itself. Any idea what i am doing wrong?

Nevermind, my buddy hooked up his and it worked perfectly. My ipod has some bent prongs in the dock connector. I guess its an excuse to buy a new one.
