The last shot is actually by the dock in the no wake zone. The others are shot on a calm day at Roosevelt.

        It's great to have weight.....

          Ballast update 2010-3 seasons later

          Hi Guys,
Been off for a while, got hooked on scuba diving during the cooler months but thought you might want to know how our ballast system is working during its third season.

This was a flawless design and could not be working better. The three pumps continue to do their thing without any impeller issues. The sacs don't leak, and the QD fittings are a must if you want to remove the sacs for any reason.

I don't use the main valve much due to the check valves installed-its always open.

There is no noticeable issues with having the water pickup on the same side as the perfect pass.

          All in all-flawless.

More later on some of our other improvements that we did several seasons ago-Wetsounds, batteries, fresh air exhaust, etc. TD

TD thanks for the update. I am so glad the design worked out so well. Three years ago I had know idea what I was starting. Everyone was using the Tsunami pump then and we started to use the Puppy pump. Great to hear all is still cooking. You were great in providing information and helping to pull this all together.
