Just a suggestion. The 21v & 23v boats we have don't have a lot of room like the newer v drives do.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

My conflict was that I had both an Airmar thru hull speed sensor and the depth finder transducer on that side, so adding it in the location the others have done would have disrupted the water flow to those two sensors, which is not something I was willing to sacrifice.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

Well, the problem is the JABSCO Ballast Puppies can handle a thru hull that's 1", but they can't handle it if it's bigger than that (too much water pressure). So you really do need the reverse scoop or your ballast tanks will fill all the time and your impellers on the Ballast Puppies will fail prematurely.
If I go down to 1", I might as well just put in on the transom because I have more room there.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."
