TigeDuner's Ballast Install

Its amazing how many clamps and how much hose is really used. I used about 75 - 80 feet of hose in mine. I am shortening most of the fill and vent lines in my clean up this year but that would save maybe 10 feet.

I know I will need to do a "clean up" as well to some of the hose work. I could have made it with one 50' roll, but I would have needed to use more 90's, which means more places for leaks. The front sac was the toughest. I still need to tie in the port drain and it will be done. I would like to drill holes in the front compartments but not sure how far forward I can drill into the floor. This will clean up both of those compartments a bunch. For now, the hose runs from one side to the other thru the factory vent holes thru the floor.

Tall I have the PP on the same side of the scoop. We offset the two to make sure the were not in a direct line and on the water test we had no problems with PP holding.

I have to admit it was a concern when we did the install.

By front compartment are you talking where the bow sac is or under the glove box and in front of the driver. In the compartment in front of the driver I had room in front of the vent hole as no brackets were felt there and that is where I brought my front fill hose up. Under the glove box there was some bracket around the vent hole so I did not drill in that side

I am refering to the compartments in front of the driver and under the glove box - not where the sac is. I connect the two drains from the bow sac together and I went under the floor between the two compartments. I would like to drill holes at the front of each compartment to run the line rather than in the middle where the factory 3" vent holes are. I may just drill holes in front of the factory ones if I can't get all the way up to the front.

Waiting one one fitting from Fly-High. Should be here tomorrow.

Remaining is the wiring of the pumps and vent piping.
Then ready for testing.
Also appears that Jabsco got the wiring right on the switches.

The one inch hose goes right over the pump fitting? That is terrific.

The brass fittings at the pumps were the easiest to push on. The quick disconnect fittings and the pvc fittings required the use of a hair dryer. Once warm, they twisted right on.

That's where my table mount is too.

It's funny you ask. I don't have a table. If you pop out the lid, there is a hole to the trans area and thats it. I suppose they all have the deck plate, but the table and base are an option.

You can tell he needs to eat more wheaties by the size of his access hole to the valve. I am not sure my hand would get through there, let alone my huge forearms!
