    That looks good!

Did you use this design for your install?

I used all 1" bilge hose. After the pump is a T fitting that feeds the top of the sac for filling and the bottom of the sac for draining. Each line to the sac has a check valve between the T and the sac. I may need to put a check valve in the vent line to pull a vaccuum on the sac, but I don't think it will be necessary since I am draining out of the bottom of the sac.

The main pick up is not directly in line with the perfect pass. It is close to or where Rival installs their pick up.

Here is a shot of the port side sac, the line to the bottom of the picture is headed to the drain in the sac. The top line with the check valve is for the fill.

I still won't sleep easy until I know that it is not a problem. The turbulence from the scoop is going to spread out.

When I did my Rival install, I nearly did the same thing, but moved it over to the other side after discovering that my paddle wheel was on the starboard side. They told me that Tige AZ puts the paddle wheel on the port side. At least for me, putting it where Rival usually puts the through hull seemed like a bad idea.

            Tall,

It is in now, so I will have to deal with it if it becomes an issue. Just one more thing.

I like how you install you puppies high to prevent back flow.

Let me know how that works.

Plan to test this weekend. The front pump is not quite as high as the rear, since I mounted it on the front of the front compartment just under the opening when the front seat is lifted up. It is higher than the drain, so it should work.

How thick was your hull fiber glass? Was it thicker than 1/4" inch?

I think it was about that or a little thicker. I used the plug for test drilling for screws. I will check it tonight if it is still on the shop floor or in the vice.

Looks clean and mean Tigeduner. Sorry if I missed it, but how much weight will this add and approximately what was your cost??

It should add about 1,300+ lbs. and the cost is yet to be finalized. Doing it yourself cuts a normally installed system in about half I would guess.

I used up my 50 foot roll of 1" bilge hose so I need to get more as well as hose clamps. Looks like this system will use almost 50 #12 ss hose clamps.

Back flow is impossible for him to get because of his check valves. He could even have put the pumps lower and it would have been fine.

Its amazing how many clamps and how much hose is really used. I used about 75 - 80 feet of hose in mine. I am shortening most of the fill and vent lines in my clean up this year but that would save maybe 10 feet.

This has been suggested as a possible problem with the scoop in front of the perfect pass paddle wheel, but I have yet to hear of any real life situations where that has been a problem. I hope it does not give you any trouble with maintaining consistent speed.
Tall I have the PP on the same side of the scoop. We offset the two to make sure the were not in a direct line and on the water test we had no problems with PP holding.

I have to admit it was a concern when we did the install.
