Depth guages

After consolidating four of my gauges into one (oil psi, temp, gas and volts) 5" Faria gauge - which replaced one of my non-functioning speedos - , upgrading my tach to Faria, and soon to come Perfect Pass, I now have 4 2" holes to fill. For one I figure a clock, two is a depth gauge, three is a fuel-flow....not sure what the 4th will be yet....maybe just a backup volts or something....ideas?

Anyway, been looking at depth gauges, and would like to get a Faria, but is it worth it? or would a hummingbird or something like that work just as well?

Also, any advice out there on a thru-hull or "in-hull" transducer?

Thru hull claims better reliability, though my in hull works just fine. In hull is much easier to install and requires no holes. I found a humminbird with transducer on ebay for $60.

Those all sound like great ideas. How about a water pressure gauge for the impeller? You would know right off if your impeller was working.

Had any issues with it? Seems to me I had one on my last boat and had nothing but problems with it....granted it was a transom-mount.

A water\air temp gauge would work in that extra spot.
