I guess Zero Off doesn't work with our older non-DBW boats? Too bad there isn't more competition in this space to bring the price down. It just doesn't seem like it should be that complicated of a system. I mean cars have had it for a very loooooong time.

Do we have a price yet? I can get from Only Inboards for $1040.

I also can do wakeboard pro for $1,040.00 with display delivered to your door.

How much is the basic / recreational Perfect Pass? Or do I not want that one?

I think you want the Wakeboard Pro. The lower end ones are missing some key features.

The $1040 is the dealer price (I believe) for the non-GPS version aka wakeboard pro. I have not heard a price on the GPS non DBW version though.

OK....so after a couple calls I was able to talk to Randy at Perfect Pass. He unfortunately is not willing to work a group buy price. He told me that there are too many variables involved in the sale of each piece, ie: Year of boat, type of motor, color of dash....etc. to put together a group buy that will work for everyone. It also affects his relationship with his dealers. So, If you are looking for a GPS version of Perfect Pass that will work with older Non-DBW boats the cost is $1195.00 - and will be ready for shipping next week.

Sorry guys, I really thought we could put something together to work for all of us, but PP was just not willing to make that commitment!

Ok, so here is the deal:

OnlyInboards has the Non-GPS version (WakeboardPro) for $1040 shipped.
PerfectPass, and I would assume OnlyInboards has the Non-DBW GPS version for $1195 starting next week.

                I'll place my order tonight

So, essentially the difference is $155 and no need to drill a hole in the bottom of my boat? Or is there more?

You still need the paddle wheel for the GPS version, and I believe the paddle wheel you already have will work with both versions, so there really isn't a need to drill with either.

                        I don't think I have a paddle wheel...

How are you getting your boat speed then?

I thought that's what the 2 things (technical term) that hang down at the back of the boat were.

Those of us with older boats have one of those air-pressure speedos. They suck!

I'd contact Ian at OnlyInboards. He's a good guy, and he seems to offer good prices. I know this might be something you want ASAP, but I'd think places will be cleaning out their inventories of the old model once GPS is out. Odds are I'll run into Ian out at the lake this weekend, so I can ask him about the possibility of a bulk order if you'd like
